The heart of a healthy running HEUI system is a properly functioning high pressure oil pump (HPOP).
This pump creates the high pressure oil that is used to fire the fuel injectors. This pump is capable of taking the oil pressure to 3000 psi.
When this pump fails, your truck is not going anywhere because it literally is the heart of a Power Stroke engine.
