EGR Delete

Let’s just be honest with ourselves. The 6.0L motor was handicapped out of the gate with the emissions control devices and will never be able to have the longevity of the 7.3L because of all the heat that is reintroduced back into the motor. So to cope with the extra heat that the motor has to deal with and give it a little more life, the EGR system has to be disabled, deleted, or removed completely. This procedure has many benefits such as lower exhaust gas temperatures, lower coolant temperatures, and quicker turbo spool up, but like everything it comes with a price. It is illegal to tamper with the federal emissions equipment on these vehicles. This is a decision you will have to make.
